I am showing the balance between two world (internal and external), the concept of third eye etc. Normally things lying on our table shows “who you are” such as books, wine, iPad etc. In this work, I tried to divide both sides of table in two sections. Right side shows more of materialistic life style such as electronic gadgets, expensive purse, money etc. Left one has more of natural/organic things such as books, fruits, water etc. In background, I have depicted the ancient funeral scene, and added Horus eye in the center. Horus eye is a metaphor of third eye. The idea behind this background was to indicate that this knowledge of third eye, or balance between the two world is not something new, its an ancient wisdom. I showed this scene in black and white as something from the “past”. On front section, again Camera and Aquarium. With camera we see external things (outside), in aquarium, we see internal world. In entire work, I have emphasized on eyes, camera eye, fish eye, and third eye.
